"WHERE EVER THE IRON IS HOT": ApeCoin Is About To Be Hyper-Financialized And Accessible As The Token Gets Ready To Head To Solana Soon!

On Monday, the ApeCo team took to Spaces to talk about Project RAID, short for Rapid ApeCoin Integration Deployment, a new initiative that aims to hyper-financialize the token and make it more accessible across Web3, starting with $Ape going live on Solana later this week.

 

“We are super financializing ApeCoin,” Yuga Labs Head of Product PP Man said. “I think one of the bigger goals here is to expand ApeCoin’s audience. ApeChain will always be the home for ApeCoin, but I think we also need to be conscious that metas and narratives strike outside our ecosystem from time to time. So we are getting ApeCoin closer to those metas. The plan here is for everyone who holds ApeCoin to be able to use their tokens wherever the hot iron is.”

Today, that hot iron is Solana. Between PumpFun streaming, creator coins, and meme culture, the broader Web3 space has been ape-ing there for a while and soon $Ape holders can too.

Once ApeCoin is live, 20+ Solana dApps and protocols are slated to roll out integrations. $Ape holders will get white glove treatment with staking in Meteora’s liquidity pools, collectibles on Drip Haus, trading benefits on Quanto’s perpetuals market, and more.

“The whole thing with RAID for ApeCoin is that it’s a compounding circle,” ApeCo’s Head of Defi 0xSimpleFarmer said. “ These protocols, these initiatives they all work together to amplify trading volume, mind share, user base for ApeCoin. And that’s why this is going to be a winning strategy. Right? We’re now in a new mindset. The mindset is perpetual winning machine for ApeCoin.”

That winning machine is fueled by arbitrage and liquidity.

As ApeCoin exists across multiple chains, price differences will spark arbitrage opportunities which are a strong sources of both revenue and volume. On top of that, ApeCo is seeding over $1 million in fresh liquidity on Solana to strengthen sell walls and support deeper markets, according to 0xSimpleFarmer.
