Class is in session in the ApeChain ecosystem this summer as the Zards collection invites holders to soft stake their NFTs, earn $ZARDS tokens, and brush up on their wizarding skills, all on chain!
Earlier this month, Zards revamped its wizard training school system and brought the entire experience on chain.
“We're thrilled to present another first for ApeChain with the first on-chain staking system for an NFT project,” Zards tweeted on May 14th. “You can now flawlessly soft stake your Zards and earn $ZARDS tokens & Magic Points!”
But bringing its wizard training system on chain isn’t just some wonky technical achievement, it has real, user friendly benefits.
With this update, the training system is now trustless and transparent, features zero downtime (so Zards can always be staked and earning), offers precise trait based calculations (ensuring every Zard gets its bonuses), and lets everyone verify everything in real time!
“Zards Training, its a great way for holders to earn passively just by holding Zards,” Zards Founder Seb Brooks told the Gazette. “It's soft-staked, so they don't have to send them to a specific wallet or anything. Also, with this being the first on-chain use case for staking on ApeChain, it's another first for us. We've constantly tried to innovate on ApeChain... As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported Zards first rolled out its Wizard training back in January inviting everyone to train their J-Pegs in the arts of a magician, a conjuror, a warlock, or even a novice.
