From starter staches and broccoli head haircuts to suits, shades, and plenty of questionable first day at the office fashion, it’s officially intern season at the Stonk Exchange, and everyone is excited to welcome these bright eyed and pixelated go getters to the firm!
Over the weekend, the timeline looked more like LinkedIn as collectors old and new made post after post announcing their new roles as Interns in the StonkBrokers ecosystem.
“Became an Intern this morning,” RedHotChiliPunk tweeted. “But I have been working like a full time company man with integrity and pride since beginning.”
With the launch of Interns, some longtime frens of the community were gifted one of these new pixelated hires for putting in work around the ecosystem before ever even clocking in.
Clutch Markets founder 0xSimpleFarmer, for example, created two Interns from his StonkBroker and sent them to community contributors Big Cuz and artist Joubrel, who have supported the project through community building, design, and other creative work since launch!
“I’ve decided to send these two interns to @NFTCUZ , who is helping guide narrative for the community and Discord, and to @iamMRJOUBREL , for his assistance with graphic design and GIFs/GIPHY for the StonkBrokers community,” SimpleFarmer said. “Both interns receive 2.5% of my lifetime distribution shares and can track their progress as they earn enough to get their own StonkBroker. Welcome to the firm.”
Others, meanwhile, decided they weren’t waiting around for an offer letter and clocked in for themselves.
“Nobody gave it to me, so I went and got it,” HoodStreet CoHost Worker tweeted. “Activated Senior Intern. We continue to work. Shout out @OxSimpleFarmer for the innovation and opportunity to be a part of the @ClutchMarketsStonkBrokers. “
As the Gazette previously reported, Clutch Markets introduced the Interns to expand the firm, support the project’s marketing efforts, and help flip the script on how outsiders view crypto and NFTs.
“In terms of what we do for onboarding everyday, I want everybody to focus on doing everything except what we’ve been doing here for the last four years, which has proven really ineffective, “0xSimpleFarmer said on an Intern Orientation Space today. “NFTs activate participants is down every single year over the last four years. So the attempt to flip that script has to be an attempt in doing things differently. That means we won’t be chasing every single whitelist and new mint. We are going to be proactive and selective and try to push the cream to the top so that when we do have people who want to invest in our eco we aren’t feeding them crap. We are going to feed them high quality products… Lets all work hard together.”
