Yuga Labs' CEO Joined The Cheetah Gang Yesterday As The Club Showed Off Their Limited Edition Apes!

As Bored Ape Yacht Club members filled the timeline with their 'limited-edition' Apes yesterday, Yuga Labs’ Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Alegre, showed off his latest primate purchase and officially joined the Cheetah Gang!

On Monday, BAYC member Balou.Eth kicked off a new copy pasta trend based on the club’s recent limited edition BAPE X BAYC tweet.

“Remember when Limited Edition meant Limited Edition,” the BAYC tweeted along with a never-before-seen BAPE X BAYC Tag. “BAPE X BAYC drops at ApeFest HK in 19 days.”

The BAYC’s post prompted Balou.Eth to get in on the limited edition vibes and show off his limited edition 1 of 10,000 Bored Ape.

“Pretty crazy how quickly it took off,” Balou.Eth told the Gazette. “With BAYC releasing the teaser of the limited edition BAPE collab I thought I’d use that as a way to show some love for our limited edition apes. Has been great to see other communities jumping on it too!

One of the Apes that jumped on this trend was Yuga Labs CEO, Daniel Alegre, who showed off his new limited-edition Bored Ape, Bored Ape #5488.

“Limited edition,” Alegre tweeted.

Bored Ape #5488 is a six trait cheetah fur primate with a biker vest, a fisherman’s hat, and sleepy eyes. Alegre purchased Bored Ape #5488 for 37,750 $Ape.

Following Alegre's post, Yuga Labs' Social Lead and Cheetah Gang member, NGBshpend, welcomed the CEO to the cheetah community.

"Say hello to the newest cheetah gang member," he wrote.

After Alegre’s purchase yesterday, Yuga Labs’ CEO now holds two Bored Apes, a Mutant Ape, and a CryptoPunk.
