Tales of the NFT markets demise have been greatly exaggerated, based on todays $2,648,000 USD bored ape sale. Bored Ape #8585 was purchased by Opensea user 86292F. Bored Ape #8585’s previous owner was Draft Kings Co-founder Matt Kalish. Since the sale, Kalish has not made any public post about the seven figure sale, but he has thanked some Twitter users who have congratulated him trippy sale
Kalish previously purchased Bored Ape #8585 for 397 Eth on August 26th.
Bored Ape #8585 is a five trait trippy fur ape with a kings crown and heart sunglasses. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #8585 is the 441st rarest ape, according to Rarity Tools.
Bored Ape #8585 is Opensea user 86292F’s first bored ape purchase, but it may not be their last. Based on the accounts recent activity, 86292F also made an 1,111 Eth offer on Bored Ape #3749.
86292F is making a splash in the NFT community after opening their account earlier this month. Not only has 86292F purchased Bored Ape #8585, they also purchased Fidenza #679 for 200 Eth, CryptoPunk 4114 for 155 Eth and CryptoPunk #273 for 265 Eth, according to their account recent activity. 86292F’s shopping spree is likely continue as the account has another 272.96 Eth or $1,055,029.25 USD in their wallet, according Etherscan.
