Every anime has a manga, every journey has a beginning, and every TCG has its first card. And tonight, you can get Azuki’s for free!

On Wednesday, Web3’s most popular anime brand invited anyone and everyone to mint a free Gate #0 IKZ digital card, meant to commemorate the brand’s soon to launch physical set, Gates Awakened.

“The first Azuki TCG digital card is here,” Azuki tweeted. “Gate #0 IKZ card is free to mint on OpenSea for a limited time. Collect yours now”

 

“Gate #0 is a commemorative digital card celebrating the launch of Azuki TCG: Gates Awakened (AZK-01), the debut set of the Azuki Trading Card Game,” Azuki wrote. “This IKZ card depicts a gate to the Garden as a relief sculpture, featuring the four leaders of Gates Awakened carved into stone alongside the iconic Garden gate pathway. This artwork appears in the Gates Awakened trailer and marks the beginning of the Azuki TCG era. Gate #0 is not a playable card in the Azuki TCG and holds no gameplay function. It exists as a collectible moment for anyone who wants to be part of the Gates Awakened launch.”
