After two years, hundreds of communities, and an insane amount of badges, ApeChain’s favorite native social media platform OtherPage is turning the page and rebranding as OpenPage as they get ready to turn followers into superfans across the Web3 world!

Tuesday marked the start of a new chapter for OtherPage after the project’s founder, Nova, announced that creators everywhere will now be able to own their legacy and connect with their communities onchain at OpenPage.

“Our vision is to make OpenPage the home of creators everywhere,” Nova told the Gazette. “A place built for creators of all sizes and backgrounds to gather their communities, unlock new ways to engage, and turn everyday followers into lifelong superfans. It’s where fans carry their digital identity across worlds, and where creators finally own the tools, data, and relationships that power their work.”

As OtherPage becomes OpenPage, Nova reiterated that they’ll remain staples around the swamp, emphasizing that the rebrand is about sharing the success they’ve had with Apes with the rest of Web3.

“ApeChain is still a core part of what we’re building, and we’re doubling down on the communities and partnerships we’ve grown there,” he said. “What’s changing with OpenPage is that we’re taking those same tools and opening them up wider, bringing the ApeChain foundation we love into a bigger, more inclusive ecosystem where other chains and creators can plug in too.”

Today’s rebrand is the latest move to make the platform more accessible to everyone. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, OpenPage recently started inviting creators to import their own collections into the platform, and they recently made the dApp compatible with Yuga Labs’ Glyph Wallets, allowing anyone with a Gmail, X account, or Apple ID to sign up and get onboarded.

“One of the visions since the beginning has been to make our product as accessible as possible, and this is one of the step towards that,” Nova told the paper at the time. “I think we're headed towards a world where every single chain and eventually banking institution has their own wallet. In this future OP will become the central hub of digital identity and the place where your avatars, your money, and your community move with you anywhere online.”

If you haven’t already, you’re invited to sign up and get connected with your communities on the new OpenPage. For more information or to create an account, visit the platform’s new website: op.xyz

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow all things OpenPage and will let you know what’s next for this onchain social media platform. Stay tuned for updates!
