A financial “STORMM” is coming to crypto after Clutch Markets unveiled plans for an options trading platform that will combine tokenized stocks, options premiums, and liquidity pools, all on Robinhood Chain.

On Saturday, Clutch Markets founder 0xSimpleFarmer took to the timeline and announced STORMM, which stands for “Stock Token Optimized Regenerative Market Maker,” the engine behind the project’s next flagship product, Leverage Machine. Together, these products aim to give traders, degens, and TradFI more ways to put their assets to work than ever before!
“STORMM is the engine that will power our next flagship release,” he wrote. “Leverage Machine: a permissionless on-chain options exchange where users can LP stock tokens or ETH and earn yield in the form of LP fees, premiums, and stock token multiplier dividends. Users can also buy calls or puts against this liquidity, and each position is minted as a tradeable NFT to the user’s wallet”
Simply put, with STORMM, users will be able to deposit ETH, tokenized stocks, or both into Clutch Markets’ Leverage Machine and put those assets to work collecting fees from normal onchain swaps as well as options premiums from traders looking to buy calls and puts against their pool, all through a simpler “Easy Mode” user interface designed to make DeFi and options trading user friendly!
“The Thesis is simple We developed STORMM because it makes Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain the best financial asset in the industry for yield and TradeFi Solutions,” 0xSimpleFarmer tweeted. “This is the path to mass adoption.”
Looking ahead, 0xSimpleFarmer plans to launch STORMM and Leverage Machine this September and then host weekly lessons in the Clutch Markets Discord on how to use these new tools.
The Gazette is working to find out more about STORMM and Leverage Machine and will let you know when they officially launch. Stay tuned for updates!
