The J-Peg journey goes round and round for one Bored Ape Yacht Club member as he takes his ApeBus to the Lone Star State for Art Blocks Marfa Weekend!

After four anything but boring days in Charleston for ApeFest 2026, BAYC member WebMx is hitting the road again, trading the Holy City's coastal streets for the dusty trails of West Texas, where he hopes to add even more signatures, stickers, and dicks to his mobile work of art!

As the Gazette previously reported, WebMx purchased a white van in Detroit ahead of ApeFest and drove it to Charleston, where a late night idea in a Waffle House parking lot became an ApeFest icon!
After seeing fellow BAYC member NGBShpend collecting signatures on a soccer ball, WebMx decided to take the idea to the next level and invite everyone to leave their mark on his van!
"I dropped the ideal to NGBShpend and he said pull that bus in here,”Webmx said. "I made it to Waffle House late in the evening when it started to die down. I pulled in the parking lot and got to work with the whole BAYC tagging.”
That night, over 40 BAYC members, from Makavelli to ShoBiz, left their mark on WebMx's new ride, and that was just the beginning!
By the end of the weekend, over 200 primates had signed the ApeBus, including notable NFT collector Adam Weitsman, Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge, and renowned digital artist Beeple, who all made their marks right on the hood!
“There are so many memories made this weekend at my first ever apefest,” Webmx tweeted. “Thanks to the whole team who threw this together: it is apparent the amount of work and effort was noticed. Thank you to every ape for making the ApeBus a Reality: the goal is to showcase artists around the country.”
This weekend, WebMx's next stop is the little town of Marfa, Texas, where he plans to meet up with Apes, NFT collectors, and artists from around the world to help fill up the other side of the ApeBus!
