Absolute sorcery was afoot on Robinhood Chain this afternoon as Mancer officially opened its highly anticipated decentralized exchange on the popular L2!

Whether you believe in magic or not, everyone can now trade like a wizard on Mancer and get great fills, set up recurring purchases, and more, all while their tokens stay in their wallets until the moment a trade occurs!
“Mancer is now open to the public,” the platform tweeted. “Trade like a wizard. mancer.xyz.”
Since its public launch today, Mancer has opened up the spellbook, fulfilling more than $465,000 worth of order fills and instant swaps on the platform, and is well on its way towards its goal of becoming the Jupiter exchange of Robinhood Chain!

As the Gazette previously reported, Mancer was first announced on August 4th as the second Special Project to come out of the Clutch Markets StonkBrokers ecosystem and was created by Michael Hirsch, better known as The SlopFather.

At its core, Mancer is designed to give traders the convenience and execution they expect from an exchange without requiring them to hand over custody of their coins. Funds remain in a user's wallet until a trade is actually executed and smart contracts enforce the conditions under which every fill can occur.
But the real magic behind the platform isn't just its contracts. It's also the decentralized network of NFTs known as ChainMancers that run the protocol.
“Mancer's bet is that the two things traders actually need from an exchange — their money kept safe and their price kept honest — are both properties a contract can enforce, and that once en‐forced, everything else can decentralize,” TheSlopFather wrote back then . “Funds never leave the maker's wallet until they trade. Every fill clears a floor or reverts. Exits are transactions no one can gate and no one may charge for. Revenue becomes ETH permissionlessly and pays the network that runs the protocol. And be‐ cause the contract, not the executor, guarantees every one of those properties, handing execution to five thousand keepers is not a leap of faith but a flag.”
