A knock in the dark of the Nexus. A silent hum around the swamp. A monster is coming to ApeChain tomorrow, and almost everyone is invited to try and add one to their collection for free!
It’s about to be a Mimu Monday as Bored Ape Yacht Club member and World of Tings founder Hype drops his highly anticipated Mimu collection, which hopes to expand the Otherside’s broader story.
“MIMU which stands for Monsters In My Universe is a collection of 5,555 characters born of the Nexus,” Hype said. “What inspired me to create MIMU was this idea of creating additional lore and IP around our existing ecosystem with World Of Tings. We have always wanted to be intentional when bringing on a new character. Being that our existing IP does not directly tie into Otherside from a visual aspect, it does allow us to indirectly bring in these MIMU's as sidekicks or companions to our main chapters which include Bubble Gun Gang (BGG).”
Monday’s mint begins at 11 A.M. EST with a GTD wallet mint for one hour. After that, Phase 2 will begin at 12:30 P.M. EST. Over the next six hours, collections will be given allocations, and holders will be able to claim and mint a MIMU while supplies last.
