AHOY THERE: ApeCoin’s NFT Activation Blackbeard’s Bounty Sails Back To Otherside And Everyone Is Invited To Snap Pics And Compete For A 95K $Ape Treasure!

ApeCoin’s popular onchain activation Blackbeard’s Bounty is back for another season, and everyone can ape in on the photographic hunt around the swamp and compete for a share of a 95,000 $Ape treasure.

 

“Three centuries ago, a pirate captain and crew vanished from the Caribbean,” ApeCoin tweeted. “His ship. His maps. His treasure. Gone with him. Blackbeard was pulled through a portal into Otherside, something primal followed."

 

 

 

Like the game’s first season last month, users will scour the Swamp and the Nexus for hidden “X” locations, not to dig up doubloons, but to capture in-game photographs on their KodaCams and mint the images on ApeChain.

 

But unlike last season, this month’s game includes a new twist, allowing anyone to channel their inner pirate, pick where X marks the spot, and create quests of their own.

“Season 2 introduces Create-a-Hunt. Each player can design one Hunt for others,” ApeCoin tweeted. “Hunts can be pledged to an NFT community. If none is selected, the Hunter picks.”
