ALL ABORED: BAYC Member WebMx Turns His Van Into The ApeBus And Wants Everyone Around The Swamp To Sign It!

Some Bored Ape Yacht Club members bring stickers to hand out at ApeFest. Others snap photos with all their frens around the swamp. But this Ape brought his whole house, and he's getting everyone to sign it!

Since April 2026, BAYC member WebMx has been living the van life, cruising around in a graffiti covered red ride featuring his Normies and StonkBrokers. But for ApeFest, he wanted to do something a little different. So he traveled to Detroit, purchased a brand new to him white van, and drove it all the way to Charleston, South Carolina!

“I didn’t even test drive,” he told the Gazette. “This is a Gods mission.”

When WebMx arrived in Charleston on Thursday, just in time for the community's Waffle House meetup, he knew that this van and this ApeFest were going to be special. He just needed a way to commemorate it.

Then, after seeing fellow BAYC member NGBShpend having everyone sign a soccer ball, inspiration struck. Why not have everyone sign his van and transform it into the ApeBus!

"I dropped the ideal to NGBShpend and he said pull that bus in here,”Webmx said. "I made it to Waffle House late in the evening when it started to die down. I pulled in the parking lot and got to work with the whole BAYC tagging.”

So far, roughly 40 BAYC members, from Makavelli to ShoBiz, have left their mark on WebMx's new ride. And with ApeFest festivities continuing this weekend, he's hoping even more primates will grab a marker and sign the ApeBus, including the man hosting the club's main event, Beeple!

“The main goal is to have Beeple sign it,” Webmx said.  I’d like to donate the entire hood to Beeple so he can lead the charge on the mission at hand.”

Tonight and tomorrow, keep your eyes peeled for WebMx and his one of a kind ApeBus around Charleston, and if you spot him, be sure to say hello and leave your mark on this rolling piece of swamp history!

The Gazette will continue to follow this story. Stay tuned for updates!
