AND THEY’RE OFF!: WinPadIo Got Apes And ApeChain NFTs Kentucky Derby Ready With Obnoxious Hats!

As Apes sipped mint juleps and bet big on the ponies this Saturday, ApeChain’s WinPadIo got them dressed for the Run for the Roses!

The 151st Kentucky Derby took place this weekend, but before the most exciting two minutes in sports, WinPadIo was getting primates preppy with obnoxious hats that were ready to win, place, or show.

“Gm. It’s Derby day and we’re off to the races,” the gamified Web3 expertience platfrom tweeted. “Post your pfp below and the intern will add a fancy hat like we did to  @PeterParkerNFT.””

 

 

“I’m not a big fan of the derby per se but I love the obnoxious hats and the way people dress up,” WinPad told the Gazette. “The event brings out a side of people you’d never know they had otherwise. I was getting ready to head over to a watch party and it got me thinking if any other apes attended the event or watch parties. Then I thought, how fun would it be to see those hats on our NFTs so I sent out the post.”

 

From there, about half a dozen Apes and frens from the ApeChain ecosystem reached out to WinPad to get a hat. . “One gob even made it their pfp and that made my day,” the project said.
