The Bored Ape Yacht Club quietly gave the community an update on this year’s ApeFest earlier this week and announced that the boring event will not take place during this year’s NFT NYC.
Earlier this week, BAYC member and Community Manager NGBxBen took to the BAYC’s members only Discord channel and told the community that the club is exploring different options for ApeFest 2023.
“Hey Apes, happy new year,” NGBxBen wrote. “We’ve been getting some questions about ApeFest timing this year since NFT NYC has changed to April. We’re still working on the specifics and don’t have any details to share yet, but we can tell you that it will not be in April. NFT NYC has been an amazing setting for our first two ApeFests, but we’re excited to explore new locations this year. Hope that helps anyone that was worried about booking travel. Stay tuned for more info on ApeFest later this year.”
