PREPARE FOR JANK: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Said That Tomorrow's Project Dragon Event Is 'Early AF' And Will Be The 'Worst Version' We Ever Experience!

As Orange and Aquamarine backgrounders and Bitfizz drinkers get ready for a meeb melee on the streets of Meetropolis tomorrow during Project Dragon, Yuga Labs CEO Garga took to the timeline to remind everyone that there will be a lot of jank, and that tomorrow’s game will be the ‘worst version’ of Project Dragon that we ever see!

Things are anything but boring around the Yugaverse this evening as the community gets ready to ape into the Otherside for Yuga Labs’ highly anticipated Project Dragon game, which will feel like a Web3 version of Call of Duty’s Domination game mode. Where Apes, Meebs, Voyagers, and more will fight to take over eight Meetropolis checkpoints!

While everyone is excited to ape into the game, Garga took to the timeline to manage everyone’s expectations, letting them know that tomorrow’s first event will be the ‘worst version’ of Project Dragon we will ever experience.

“Before Dragon tmrw, few things I want to you to remember: 1) NO one has done action gameplay like this with 3k+ players in the same environment. It's going to be chaotic as fuck,” he tweeted. “ 2) this is early af. This is the worst version of Project Dragon you're ever going to experience, because we're going to be iterating on this game every single month. Expect balance changes, new features, UI/UX additions, etc. Tell us what you want to see! 3) This was all made with the Otherside Development Kit (ODK) in just a few months. As we open the platform up to more creators, that means any ODK builder will be able to create their own spin on Project Dragon. Or make stuff we haven't even thought of yet. 4) Play Orange if you love to lose.”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs’ first Project Dragon event is taking place in Meetropolis tomorrow from 12 P.M. EST to 2 P.M. EST.

Bored Apes and Meebits can play as their PFPs, Mutant Apes can play as a Mutant Ape version of Curtis known as Murtis, and Voyagers, Kodas, Kodamara, Grailed, Moonbirds, and HV-MTL holders are all invited to ape in and play as Voyager robots!

This event will kick off a yearlong, 12-part action game series that will get better and better with each iteration and feature an overarching storyline by Yuga Labs co-founders Gordon Goner and Garga.
