APE IN: The Bored Ape Yacht Club Opens A Peer To Peer Marketplace Filled With Art, Apparel, And Grails!

Peer to peer officially stands for primate to primate, and whoever else wants to wear all things Ape, after the Bored Ape Yacht Club officially opened its new P2P merch marketplace packed with grails that Apes and beyond would find appealing!

From the “I Missed The Boat” hats from the very first ApeFest in 2021 to the official 1/1 BAYC x BMW ApeCar designed by the Club’s own Rida, the shop is packed with grails, nostalgia, and enough deadstock drip to make any Ape or $Ape holder blow their ApeCoin stack!
“Apes have so much memorabilia it’s crazy,” BAYC Member SixThePlug tweeted. “Talk about collectibility. bored ape yacht club.”
The BAYC’s new P2P marketplace is open to anyone and everyone, but only Club members are currently able to list items.
“BAYC P2P runs on ApeChain,” Yuga Labs’ Head Engineer James Hall tweeted. “Ape holders list physical goods with photos and an APE price. Buyers sign in with a wallet, enter a shipping address, and pay into our on-chain escrow contract. After you pay, the contract holds the full amount until the trade finishes. The seller has a deadline to ship and record shipment on-chain. Until then, funds stay locked in escrow.”
Since opening earlier this afternoon, we’ve already seen hats, a BAYC x BAPE Hawaiian shirt, and even a 1/100 BAYC Apes Vs. Mutants Mobile game “Glass Vase” sell for 15,000 $Ape!
