APES ON TOP, OF A WEDDING CAKE: Meirav And Javier Tie The Knot With Their BAYC Primates Atop The Cake!

From Apes on top to Apes on top of a wedding cake! The couple that Apes together stays together around the swamp and beyond!

Over the weekend, Bored Ape Yacht Club member Meirav announced that she and Javier tied the knot, revealing that their primates were on the guest list and atop the cake!

 

“We recently got married,” Meirav tweeted. “And of course we had to make a special  @BoredApeYC cake topper to celebrate the occasion. 3D modeled by the one and only  @RidazLp2 and hand painted by me”

 

 

“Our journey as Bored Ape holders together began on day one of art reveal, and over the years, the community has brought us closer than ever and ultimately led us to marriage,” Meirav told the Gazette. “Because we are both creatives who share a deep appreciation for the IP and the art of bored apes, incorporating our apes into the wedding felt so natural. We decided a custom cake topper would be the perfect centerpiece to share our story—and the ideal canvas to showcase my work as a professional toy painter.”

 

From mint to matrimony, what a journey the past five years have been for Meirav and Javier!

 

Over the years, the couple founded Bored Art Not Club, giving holders access to a suite of hand drawn gestures and poses for their primates, Meirav ran for office, they traveled the world for ApeFests, transformed their NFTs into stop motion puppets, and launched their own line of Made by Apes cleaning and selfcare products through their brand, Mister Clean Cowboy!

Meirav and Javier’s Ape journey to the altar is another example of how the Bored Ape Yacht Club has become much more than just a J-Peg on the blockchain for many of its longtime members!

 

Looking ahead, the couple told the paper that their next order of business is getting their stop motion Bored Ape puppets animated. But that may have to wait a bit, because they have a baby due this November!

 

“Life has been life-ing,” Meirav said!
