$APES SUPPORTING APE: Archie Apes And Their Founder DanYells Are Rallying ApeChain To Help Adopt A Real Life Ape Named Archie

From onchain primates to real life ones, “Apes supporting Apes” has been said many times  and shown in many ways  around the swamp. From buying a frens’ project to simply giving a fellow primate a retweet, the meta has always been Apes together strong.

 

Now, one ApeChain founder and her community are stepping up once again to make a real difference in the life of an IRL ape named Archie, and they’re asking for the community’s help!

 

Ever since minting out Archie Apes and Mutant Archie Apes last year, ApeChain’s first female founder, DanYellsNFTs, has been looking for ways for her project and the broader community to give back beyond the digital world.

“What started as a Web3 project quickly grew into a genuine community, and I wanted our impact to extend beyond the digital space,” she said. “Adopting an ape felt like the perfect way to do that.”

Last year, DanYells began searching for organizations where her community could make a real world impact and discovered The Center for Great Apes. That’s where she saw a primate named Archie.

 

“I knew he was the one," she said . “There was an instant connection, and it felt like the perfect match for both me and the Archie Apes community.”

 

At the time, DanYells and the Archies  raised $400 in just 24 hours and adopted Archie,  providing the primate with a year’s worth of essentials like food, shelter, and fun!

 

Now, with Archie’s adoption renewal approaching next month, DanYells and the Archie Apes are once again making the rounds around the swamp and beyond, asking fellow Apes and $Ape holders to help support Archie for another year.

 

“We’ve already raised $80 toward next year’s adoption. Anyone who wants to support Archie can donate directly through the Center for Great Apes, and I also accept cryptocurrency donations for those who prefer to give through Web3,” She said. “What began as an NFT project has grown into a heartfelt mission rooted in community, compassion, and real-world impact — all centered around Archie.”
