ARE YOU NOT AI-TERTAINED?: GamiFi Is Opening Its Agentic Fighting Arena On ApeChain Tomorrow

This Thursday, GamiFi will officially open the Arena for its highly anticipated agentic fighting game on ApeChain that turns NFTs into AI powered fighters. Ding! Ding!

“Thursday June 18th, 3 PM UTC (11:00 A.M. EST),” GamiFi tweeted. “Public launch is locked. Waiting for you in our launch party with surprise guests. Powered by  @ApeCoin @ApeChainHUB.”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, this isn't just another button mashing fighting game.

 

In the Arena, competitors don't directly control their characters. Instead, they prompt them much like they would on ChatGPT or Claude, choose a community to represent, mint their AI fighter onchain, bet on them, and send them into battle in live, simulated, and provably fair matches running 24/7 on ApeChain.

 

 “Humans don't fight. Humans don't control the match. Humans prompt a fighter into existence, mint it, stake on it, and then step back while the agents settle it themselves,”GamiFi  Founder Mortiz explained. “Nothing like this exists anywhere else in the ecosystem. Not on Ethereum, not on Solana, not on Base, not even close.”

 

Late last month, the ApeChain and broader Web3 community got its first look at the game during a closed alpha event that featured community members' NFTs stepping into the ring. Participants included Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge, artist Roc Sol, NGBxShpend, Sera, and many more.

 

Now, the ropes are coming down and the Arena is about to opento the public. So I ask you again, are you not AI-ntertained?
