ARSHAM AESTHETIC: Yuga Labs Announces Daniel Arsham X Otherside Voyager Bot That Will “Be In A Constant Cycle Of Change”

Voyager robots’ cold and classic aesthetic has been a staple of the Otherside since the very first trip, when everyone aped into the earliest days of the world as a bot.

Since then, the Otherside has gone persistent, and hundreds of collections have made their way into the metaverse, each adding their own flavor to the ever evolving world. But the Voyager robots have remained the standard, until now.

On Monday, Yuga Labs announced that it will be dropping a new, limited edition Voyager robot skin designed by contemporary visual artist Daniel Arsham, that will constantly change and grow alongside the Otherside.

"Otherside × @DanielArsham 300 Voyagers only,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “Allowlist opens next week in Otherside. Your Yuga assets and Otherside level determine your odds. More info soon.”

As the Gazette previously reported, this Arsham × Otherside Voyager robot skin is part of a bigger “Voyager” initiative that Yuga Labs has planned, where it will collaborate with artists on different skins and aesthetics for bots in hopes of onboarding collectors from other niches into the world. The initiative was first teased at ApeFest 2025 in Las Vegas during Michael Figge’s keynote speech.

“We made a list of artist that we wanted to work with on Voyager,” Figge said. “We wanted to work with the biggest names that specialize in collectibles. We wanted someone who’s work with brands as big as we aspire to be. Somebody’s who’s capable of mixing fun and depth. Somebody who’s worked with Pokemon, Dior, and Kith, just to name a few. And at the top of that list was Daniel Arsham. I have personally been a fan of Daniel for a long time. I think he is one of the best practitioners of collectible editions on the planet.”

Tonight, we do not yet know what exactly this bot will look like, but

according to Figge’s ApeFest keynote, it won’t stay the same for long.

“The Arsham Voyager is going to have a new feature where it forms and reforms over time, much like the features of Otherside. When you load in, your avatar is going to be in a constant cycle of change. From birth, to death, to rebirth.”

The Gazette is working to find out more about this upcoming Arsham Voyager and will let you know when Yuga Labs releases more information. Stay tuned for updates!
