Another famous rocker has changed their Twitter profile photo to a Bored Ape, showing the world that he is a member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club!
Avenge Sevenfold guitarist, Synyster Gates (whose real name is Brian Elwin Haner Jr.) changed his Twitter profile photo to a Bored Ape Wednesday afternoon.
“#NewProfilePic,” the rock&roll legend tweeted along with a photo of Bored Ape #1119.
Bored Ape #1119 is a six trait trippy fur ape with a leather jacket, an angel halo and a bored unshaven kazoo mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1119 is the 319th rarest bored ape, according to Rarity Tools.
While Synyster just changed his profile to Bored Ape #1119 today, the rocker has owned him since July 13th when Synyster purchased the primate for 25 Eth.
Bored Ape #1119 isn’t Synyster’s only ape In fact the the rocker has quite the BAYC collection. In total he owns four bored apes, four mutants and one trippy fur Bored Ape Kennel Club dog, according to Opensea.
While Synyster has been a member of the BAYC for a while, many in the community were unaware until today when he updated his profile photo. After the change, bored apes were quick to say hello. “Welcome to BAYC,” BAYC member Puff NFT tweeted. “I promise you'll be avenged seven fold.”
