Preach, ante up, and pray that luck be an $Ape!

On Saturday, ApeChain's native casino dApp, Ape Church, launched the first iteration of its Texas Hold'em poker game, inviting Gimboz holders to playtest the newest addition while trying to add another frog to their collection.

“Texas Hold'em is one of the biggest additions coming to Ape Church, and before opening it to the public, we want to put it through its paces with the people who know our platform best,” Ape Church’s Koko wrote. “This beta is about more than just playing poker—it's about helping us refine the experience. We're looking for feedback on gameplay, balance, UI, performance, and any bugs or edge cases you can find so we can deliver the strongest possible product at public launch.”

Tonight, every Gimboz holder who has staked their frog can claim 10,000 free chips, head to the tables, and start building their stack with Gimboz NFTs on the line for the day's chip leader.

In addition to the daily contest, Ape Church will also distribute millions of GP points among the game's top players each week.

Beyond the rewards, this beta gives Ape Church's faithful holders a chance to help make sure the game is polished and ready before opening its doors to the broader crypto congregation.

“This is your opportunity to help us build the best decentralized poker experience possible,” Koko wrote. “As you play, we're asking the community to share: Bug reports, Gameplay feedback, Balance suggestions, UI and UX improvements, Anything that feels confusing or broken, Every piece of feedback helps us strengthen the platform before opening the doors to the public. We're excited to see how the community breaks, improves, and ultimately helps perfect Gimboz Hold'em. Shuffle up, take your seat, and we'll see you at the tables.”
