"BECAUSE I LIKE IT, ITS THAT SIMPLE": BAYC Member T Tony Buys Another Center Island Otherside Otherdeed For 34 Eth!

When it comes to real estate, it’s all about location, location, location and when it comes to collecting, the name of the game is buying what you like. Around the swamp, metaverse mogul TTony knows both these rules by heart. Over the weekend, he picked up a Center Island Otherdeed just because he liked it. “It’s that simple,” he said.

On Saturday, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and avid Web3 collector TTony made waves around the swamp and on the timeline after purchasing Otherdeed #24 for 34 ETH, or roughly $85,000 USD.

Otherdeed #24 is a two star Splinter environment on Biogenic Swamp sediment. It comes with a Fire Sale Scroll artifact and contains Brimstone and Lunarian resources.

While the land itself is stunning, the main draw is its proximity to the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Otherdeed #24 is located on the metaverse’s Center Island and literally connects to the Clubhouse at the middle, according to the Otherside map.

 

TTony’s big buy was picked up by Web3 thought leader Wale.Moca, and conversations around Otherside, and its phased roll out that begins with Bathroom Blitz later this month , became the was the talk of the timeline.

With all the attention, TTony tweeted this afternoon to explain his reasoning behind his buy explaining that he liked it and wants to have a

great experience when the metaverse becomes a reality, “Its’s that simple.”

 

“I read almost every comment carefully, which surprised me, but this may be an information island,” he tweeted. “I thought  @OthersideMeta was well-known in the crypto world, but the result was the opposite. Maybe some people know  @BoredApeYC, but few people know the culprit of the gas war on the eth chain three years ago. A large number of comments think that I am an insider, and my purchase is because I got some inside information. Some people think that I am hyping or fat fingers. In fact, the reason is very simple. I am a loyal user of  @yugalabs. I own several apes. I know that Otherside is about to go online. This island was worth 330e three years ago. With this purchase, TTony now holds two Center Island Otherdeeds. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, he aped into Otherdeed #90 back on May 31st.
