From Web3 to Whatnot, Orange Cap Games' flight into the mainstream continued Thursday night when the Vibes TCG maker went live on the popular shopping platform to rip packs alongside Chief Intern Officer Pax.
From 7:30 p.m. ET until around 11 p.m. ET, Orange Cap Games hosted its first ever Whatnot livestream, ripping everything from single packs to booster boxes of its newest set, Birbs & Pengu, along with a handful of boxes from its debut release, Enter the Huddle.
With Drake playing in the background for much of the night, Moonbirds holders, Pudgy Penguins collectors, and newcomers alike placed bids in hopes of pulling a rare hit, with special guest, theHead Bird and Vibes TCG founder himself, Spencer, stopping by to rip packs on stream.
While the night was a blast, the biggest winner was definitely avid card collector and NFT enthusiast Dr. Camel, whose bought boxes fot him not one, not two, but three sketch cards throughout the event.
It was a lot of fun,” Dr. Camel tweeted. “We made @birbpax earn his cut today.”
After a night of ripping packs, Pax thanked everyone for tuning in and making Orange Cap Games' first Whatnot stream one to remember.
“Crazy amount of sketches, crazy first stream,” he said. “Thank you for showing up. I hope you guys enjoyed the stream. We make it happen for you guys and we must show appreciation to you.”
Looking ahead, Pax said Orange Cap Games plans to host more Whatnot streams whenever the team has time.
