BIG CARD HUNTING IN THE SWAMP: BAYC Member Hype And The Other Games Crew Will Be Ripping Mudwater Packs And Talking All Things TCG During Their 24 Hour Mud Mania Livestream Beginning Tomorrow Night!

Who's ready to go big card hunting down in the swamp?

Tomorrow at 10 p.m. ET, Bored Ape Yacht Club member MoreThanHype and the Other Games crew will kick off their 24 hour Mud Mania livestream, where they'll be ripping open cases of the BAYC's new Mudwater trading cards, chasing rare 1/1s, digging into the game's lore and chatting with some of the people who brought the game out of the mud!

“It's great to be able to host another event supporting apes,” Hype told the Gazette. “ It's always been about the club.  Since the launch of the Mudwater TCG at ApeFest and seeing everyone's excitement on the timeline it only made sense.

As the Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs stealth launched Mudwater, in partnership with Orange Cap Games, during ApeFest 2026 at Beeple Studios earlier this month.

To celebrate the launch, everyone in attendance was gifted a Mudwater game set featuring a box containing 24 packs of cards. Meanwhile, every Bored Ape and Mutant Ape was airdropped 10 packs per BAYC and two packs per MAYC they hold!

Since then, the vibes around the BAYC have been immaculate, with collectors ripping packs, chasing rare singles and learning how to play the new TCG, which features 120 different artworks that are anything but boring!

These collector vibes will be on full display during tomorrow's 24-hour marathon as Hype and the crew welcome Yuga Labs team members, including CEO Michael Figge, special guests and fellow Apes to rip packs, talk strategy and get into the nitty-gritty of all things Mudwater!

“There will be pack rips, box rips, game discussion and more,” Hype said. “ Everyone is invited to pop in and break their physical and digital packs / boxes.  In addition to some LIVE breaks we will also be speaking on the game, the art, some other builders in the space building cool things around the mud ecosystem.”

But that's not all!

Along with the pack openings, special guests and Mudwater discussions, Hype and the Other Games crew will be giving away 24 Mudwater packs throughout the livestream, giving every viewer the chance to add a little dirt to their decks!

For anyone looking to rip their own physical or digital Mudwater packs live, Hype said to DM him soon because spots are filling up fast!

The Gazette will continue to follow Mud Mania and will let you know if any 1/1 are pulled during this 24 hour livestream. Stay tuned for updates!
