FROM BIRBISH TO BACKING: Moonbirds Awards A Nest Egg To IGotTheHerb To Keep Building His Community Hub, SoYouBoughtIt!

From birbish to backing!

Over the weekend, Moonbirds announced that it had awarded a grant to a little birdy who's been building a one stop nest for his feathered frens for almost two years!

“The Birb Foundation is excited to award  @soyouboughtit a grant to help  @igottheherb continue developing exceptional resources for the Moonbirds community.”

As the Gazette previously reported, IGotTheHerb is the birb behind "So You Bought It, a community built website designed to help Moonbirds holders navigate everything happening around the nest!

IGotTheHerb first launched the platform way back in February 2025 after realizing that the kind of one stop landing place he wished existed when he first joined the flock simply wasn't there!

"When I joined Moonbirds last year, I knew there was a lot going on and created by the community, but I couldn't find where it all was,” he said at the time.

Since then, So You Bought It has grown from a simple onboarding tool into a full fledged nest of Moonbirds information, complete with collection stats, memes, AI prompts, community resources, and much more!

Now, after nearly two years of building for his feathered frens, Herb's hard work is getting some well deserved recognition from the flock!

“It Feels great really,” IGotTheHerb told the Gazette after receving the grand. “Once ocap took over they’ve shown a lot of love for SYBI. For a while during SBT mania even official coms were to check sybi to view your soul bound tokens…Getting the grant means I can stop selling my birb to cover server costs each month which is dope, and means I can add some cool activations… first one coming soon hopefully  Nice way to reward active (emphasis on active).”

Tonight, anyone and everyone, whether you're a longtime Moonbirds holder or a newcomer to the nest, is invited to check out IGotTheHerb's So You Bought It website and find out what the flock is happening around the Moonbirds ecosystem here: https://mb.soyouboughtit.app

The Gazette will continue to follow all things Moonbirds and will keep you posted on what IGotTheHerb builds next with the support of his new nest egg! Stay tuned for updates!
