Bored Ape Yacht Club Member 0xb1 Purchased A Mega Mutant Serum For 999 Eth.

Notable Bored Ape Yacht Club member, 0xb1, purchased one of the three remaining Mega Mutant serums this morning for 999 Eth or $3,796,000 USD.

“Oops,” 0xb1 tweeted. “Now what do we do....”

0xb1 purchased the potent concoction from BAYC whale, degen_ape, who diamond handed the serum since August 28th, according to Opensea data..

0xb1 is no stranger to the Mutant Ape Yacht Club or Mega Mutants. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, 0xb1 purchased the Demon Mega Mutant for 350 Eth on August 29th.

After purchasing the serum, 0xb1 tweeted that he is considering fractionalizing the coveted serum. “Maybe we fractionalized it and give the fractions for $FODL NFT holders. Crazier things have happened,” he tweeted.

For apes unfamiliar with Fodl, “Fodl is a fully decentralized leverage trading platform using liqiudity from collateral lending platforms like Compound and Aave instead of funding rate and margin markets,” according to the company’s website.

0xb1 purchasing a Mega Mutant serum comes just hours after Co-founder of Ethereum and BAYC member, Taylor Gerring, used one of the mega serums on his cheetah fur primate. Gerring's cheetah fur primate drinking the serum resulted in an insane DMT Mega Mutant.

Gerring live streamed the event with the help of BAYC members TropoFarmer and Farokh. The stream was viewed by over ten thousand people and really brought the BAYC community together.

While 0xb1 has not yet announced when,or if, he will use the Mega Mutant serum, the BAYC community appears to want him to make it an event like Gerring did.
