A major trade for a blue beams bored ape occurred at the Bored Ape Yacht Club earlier today.
BAYC member Lior.Eth traded a Mega Koda and 30 Eth with 3obafett for Bored Ape #6776.
“JUST GOT MY 5TH MOTHAFUCKIN BLUE BEAM APE,” Lior.Eth tweeted following the trade. “I LOVE YOU, @BoredApeYC.”
Bored Ape #6776 is a six-trait dark brown fur primate with a bone necklace and blue beam eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #6776 is the #449 most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
Following the deal, Lior.Eth told the Bored Ape Gazette that he has been working to corner the blue beams market and that blue beam apes have great intellectual property potential.
“Blue beam apes hold a special place in my heart, Lior.Eth said. “Being the absolute coolest trait collection-wide, I’ve been obsessed with blue beam apes for the last year. Owning 5 of those grails has been a long-time goal of mine. By cornering the blue beam ape market, I hope more seasoned collectors open their eyes (pun intended) to this incredible trait and start taking it seriously. The IP play here will be massive.”
