Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Richard Vagner Won A Grammy For His Work On SOJA's Album.
Yesterday evening was the 64th annual Grammy Awards and this longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member was honored for his work!
BAYC member Richard Vagner won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album for his work on SOJA’s "Beauty in the Silence" album. Vagner produced and played instruments for the group.
“I feel pretty bored," Vagner told the Bored Ape Gazette following his victory. “But all jokes aside just very grateful and still in shock.”
Following his win, Vagner told the Gazette that if apes could only listen to one song on the Grammy Award winning album, he’d want them to check out Fall Like Rain.
“It was a special song to work on, Vagner said. “Emotional and powerful song where my violin was hugely featured.”

Vagner has been a staple of the BAYC community since the beginning and even performed at Ape Fest last fall on Halloween night.
