Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Are Making A Mark On Lisbon During The first ApeFest Side Event Today!

Bored Ape Yacht Club member artists are making their mark on Lisbon today, kicking off ApeFest 2024 with brushstrokes and spray paint at this year's first side event!

While ApeFest officially starts on Friday, today’s Ape Graff Jam side event, hosted by BAYC members BlueEyedQueen and Pauser, is getting the bored party started early at R. Dr. Estêvão de Vasconcelos 56, 1950-277 Lisboa.

“The ideas was based on my graffiti background and i’ve made a huge mural in Lisbon in 2021 and since then I got a Good relationship with people from city council who are doing the streetart festival there,” Pauser said. “And when I realized that the ApeFest will be in Lisbon I tried to put together a bunch of artist together to create a wall together with community. So I figured out the wall and sponsors and partners so we can have a nice side event full of street and graffiti art made by apes.”

 

Today’s Ape Graff Jam artist lineup includes AllCityBAYC, FreshestKicks, NissLA, Dian, and more. These artists range from beginners to pros, each bringing their unique style to this ape-ish art piece.

‘We’ve spent the last few months churning our wheels in private group chats, spreadsheets and forms.. and the amount of dedication is uncanny,” BlueEyedQueen told the Gazette. “Our side event was designed to bring together different types of artists and creatives from around the world; and all types of artists! From beginners to all street types. “I cannot wait to see this event unfold. The energy brewing is so magnetic! We want everyone to come on out, and enjoy the good vibes.. drop by and make your mark, add a piece of history on the collaboration.”

Tonight’s event will run until 8 P.M., and Apes are welcome to stop by throughout!
