Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Have Until Tonight At 11:59 P.M. EST To Nominate Themselves Or Others For The BAYC Council Races!

Yuga Labs is doing a last call for applicants to throw their hats in the ring and run of one of the three open positions of the BAYC’s Community Council!

Things are anything but boring around the swamp this evening as Apes work to nominate themselves and others for the three open BAYC Community Council positions before the window to ape into the races closes tonight at 11:59 P.M. EST!

“Reminder: BAYC Council nomination form submissions are closing at 11:59pm tonight,” The Council tweeted this evening.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, every BAYC and MAYC member is invited to nominate themselves or others for three different open positions: 1. Co-Lead, this Ape will act as a committee leader. 2. Made By Apes Liaison, this Ape will be responsible for finding ways to support and connect Made By Apes businesses. 3. Clubhouse and Events Liaison, this Ape will be responsible for setting up events between local BAYC communities and Yuga Labs!

After the window for Apes to nominate themselves closes tonight, Yuga Labs will review the nominations and present the community with a shortlist of three candidates to choose from for each position. BAYC/MAYC members will then elect their BAYC Council members on February 26th, according to the Council.

“We encourage Apes to include rationale around nominations so the Yuga team can get a full picture of the best candidates to shortlist,” Yuga Labs wrote. “We know there is a ton of amazing and diverse talent in the Club, and we want to make sure even those who are not as vocal on social media are equally considered.”
