BORED GAMES: BAYC Member ApeMiral Won Last Night's Otherside Squid Games!

64 players entered last night’s Otherside Squid Games, and while Bored Ape Yacht Club member ApeMiral was the sole survivor, everyone left with their lives and most walked away with a prize!

Sunday night was anything but boring in Otherside, as community members old and new joined the metaverse’s first ever Squid Games, hosted by BAYC members GSpot, MoreThanHype, and Honey B.

 

 

The event kicked off at the BAYC Clubhouse and featured three classic games, Red Light, Green Light, Simon Says, and Hide and Seek, each round narrowing down the field to find out who’s truly an ape above the rest!

“It was a lot of fun tbh haha,” Squid Games host Honey B told the Gazette. “I think for a first go at an event like this - we had a lot of fun & the players seemed to be vibin almost everyone that played got a prize - that's how awesome the community sponsors who came thru were people started donating even more APE while we played to hand out more prizes.”

 

While a lot of Apes and frens from around the Web3 world won something, the game could only have one big winner, and that was BAYC ApeMiral!

“It was such a fantastic experience,” he told the Gazette. “Loved how the community came together in this new space, whether organizing or competing. The games were a blast and the energy was unforgettable!”

Looking ahead, GSpot, MoreThanHype, and Honey B plan to host more Otherside events and want to see others do the same!

“I hope this inspires more people to keep coming up with games & experiences for us all to play (I already have more ideas haha) and I'm just grateful for the support & interest from everyone and amazing people like @Timmygspt and @morethenhype who have helped organize and contribute to the creativity and shenanigans of it all,” honey B said. “I don't think we've slept just exploring every inch of the map and coming up with games to play haha.”
