BUBBLING UP: Yuga Labs Debuts Otherside Bubble Hangout Spaces Tomorrow—And You're Invited To Pop In!

Get ready to break out of your Twitter Spaces bubble and dive into the literal Bubble Hangout space of Otherside!

This Thursday, Yuga Labs is set to burst the Web3 content bubble with the first-ever test of its Bubbles Hangout spaces, featuring familiar faces and programs from around the swamp. Best of all, Apes, Meebs, Voyagers, and more are invited to ape in!

 

“Voyagers, Let’s try a different kind of Spaces,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “A Bubble. Bubbles will be publicly tested in Otherside on November 14 from 3PM - 7PM ET. @Bayc364, @BaycCouncil, @OtherSpaceFM, and Meet at the Clubhouse will be hosting Bubbles in Otherside.”

 

 

 

The first-ever Bubble Hangout sessions promise to be anything but boring! Here’s the lineup:

 

3 PM EST: Kick things off with BAYC Member and Ape Express Founder Koko, who will host the first ever Bubble hangout.

 

4 PM EST: Join the BAYC Community Council for another round of bubbly conversations.

 

5 PM EST: Enjoy a special edition of Meet at The Clubhouse hosted by Barron Von Hustle and IllaDaProducer.

 

6 PM EST: Cap the evening with a burst of fun as NANA takes the mic for a special edition of OtherSpaceFM in the Bubble.

 

 

This event is open to everyone in the swamp, $Ape ecosystem, and the broader Web3 world. To join in, all you need is a Yuga ID account.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first announced its new Otherside equivalent to Twitter Spaces, Bubbles, at ApeFest 2024.

 

 

“We want Otherside to be the default place you go to hang out with your friends in Web3” Garga said during his keynote speech last month. “That means games but it also means fun sticky social features…. We are opening up a feature for testing today called Bubbles. This is our little version of Twitter spaces or Discord stages. This has been one of our most requested features like a special voice chat for interviews, podcasts, and just like adventuring and hanging with your friends. But we didn’t just want to make a little conference room like you’d see in other metaverses. So, we added our own little twist on it. When you start a bubble, you literally float up in the air and you’ll be inside an effervescent bubble with your crew. I think it’s pretty fucking fun.”
