From Nifty Gateway and Foundation to X2Y2 and Magic Eden, NFT marketplaces have come and gone over the years.
But a scrappy data aggregator first funded by the ApeCoin DAO years ago is now making its move into the marketplace space, betting that real tools, and genuine ecosystem support will win out over airdrop farming in the long run!

In February, OSWiki debuted its Yuga centric NFT marketplace, built with the community in mind and designed to give back to its users by using a portion of its proceeds to buy and burn ApeCoin.
From displaying TokenWorks’ NFTs to listing both Otherdeed and Otherdeed Expanded collections together, and offering advanced search filters that traders actually asked for, OSWiki founder Frostyz’s goal has been to create a better experience for real users than the bigger players.

And slowly but surely, Apes and others are catching on.
“Far away from beeing successful with oswiki yet, but we earned our first 100$ fees with our marketplace,” Frostyz tweeted this evening. “End of this month we will buy @apecoin with 100% of the proceeds and burn it. In total 60k buy volume was routed from our website, 10k were direct oswiki listings. Use us = Apes win”
As OSWiki gains traction in a marketplace space dominated by Blur and OpenSea, collectors like Adam Weitsmanare taking to the timeline to give Frostyz his flowers.
“Everyone really needs to check out @oswikixyz created by @frostyz ,” he tweetd. “Just makes the collecting journey easier and more enjoyable. It’s a must daily check in for me…. Def an absolute follow for everyone in (or thinking of getting in) the @yugalabs Universe !!!"
Even Yuga Labs’ VP of Blockchain gave the platform a nod of approval earlier this week.
"We can't stop apes from trading where they please but we can make a marketplace so good that it's not worth trading elsewhere. @oswikixyz already does a good job too”
