CAST A LINE: Chumpz Is Launching A New Fishing Game On ApeChain, But You’ll Need A Reel To Play!

Up at the crack of dawn with nothing but a fishing pole, some bait, and a dream of snagging a big one! ApeChain, get ready for a day on the lake “reel soon!”

On Monday, the Chumpz NFT collection kicked off its Gon’ Fishing by Chumpz NFT mint on Blever, inviting everyone around the swamp and beyond to pick up a pole, cast a line, and get ready to fish for onchain prizes!

 

 

Each Rod cost 8 $Ape  or $2.50 USD and can be used in the Chumpz NFT project’s new game dubbed Gon’ Fishing.

“Gon' Fishing by Chumpz is a fast, fun Web3 game where you cast, catch NFT fish, score loot boxes, and climb the leaderboard for APE prizes,” the project’s founder KC Montero wrote. “Mint a rod, reel in rewards, or stake your Chumpz and chill. Simple. Built for degens.”

Beginning tomorrow morning, Montero plans to start revealing minters’ rods and then get degens out on the lake to catch some rewards.

“Early day of fishing tomorrow,” he tweeted. “Reveal as soon as I’m up -regardless of where mint is- then we head to the pond and get it going. See you round 6pm pst. Let’s Fish Bishes.”
