2,878 Voyagers aped in. 134,833 tickets were printed, but only 300 were winners. Was luck an Arsham for you, anon?

Monday was anything but boring in the metaverse as the window to secure Arsham raffle tickets closed and Yuga Labs distributed allowlist spots to the lucky winners of this week’s highly anticipated Voyager drop.

“Congratulations to the winners of the Daniel Arsham allowlist draw. All access passes have been distributed. Thank you to everyone who participated in the allowlist.”

As the Gazette previously reported, the Arsham Voyager was designed by contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, known for his work with brands like Kith and Pokémon, in collaboration with Yuga Labs, and will evolve over time.

Unlike most mints throughout NFT history, which take place on traditional Web2 websites, this drop is happening entirely inside the Otherside metaverse. Participants were able to claim raffle tickets as their NFTs, and those who secured an allowlist spot will mint their Voyager the same way, marking a full circle moment that would have felt like a pipe dream back in 2021.

“We live in the FUTURE,” BAYC member CinemaD tweeted last month. “In ‘21 minting was hectic and happened on probably sketchy websites. Now??? Bro go talk to the Curator at the digital art gallery Biggest drop of the year and it’s happening in-game! INSANE.”

Later this week, on May 6, Arsham Voyager allowlist winners will be invited to mint their Voyager for $200 worth of $Ape directly on Otherside!

“Every Arsham Voyager purchase also includes a signed limited edition copy of Daniel Arsham's new book, Future Relic: Failures, Disasters, Detours, and How I Made a Career as an Artist, a document of over two decades of Fictional Archaeology,” Yuga Labs wrote. “The book is a physical companion to this digital collection as a one-time redemption after you claim your Voyager.”

Looking ahead, Apes, Voyagers, and more can expect to see additional limited-edition mints like this on Otherside as Yuga Labs continues its “Voyager” initiative, where the company collaborates with artists on different skins and aesthetics for bots in hopes of onboarding collectors from new niches into the ecosystem. The initiative was first teased at ApeFest 2025 in Las Vegas during Michael Figge’s keynote.

Tonight, anyone can purchase an Arsham Voyager allowlist spot on OpenSea:https://opensea.io/collection/arsham-voyager-access-pass

The Gazette will continue to follow this week’s Arsham Voyager mint and will share more on the mechanics of how these bots evolve as additional details become available. Stay tuned for updates!
