COMING UP: BAYC Member Alex Lee's RugDollz World NFT Is Minting On Blever Tomorrow:

Back in the heyday of NFTs, projects would promise the world and disappear the next day, pulling the rug out from under collectors. As more collections rugged, Bored Ape Yacht Club member Alex Lee built a collection and community specifically for these burned collectors called RuggedDollz. He gave rugged NFT buyers $RUGZ tokens and opened a world of PFP NFTs and games to them. Now, playtime’s over for Lee, who’s launching a new gaming collection on ApeChain called RugDollz World, which comes with utility in four already live mini-games right out of the box!

Things will be anything but boring in the ApeChain ecosystem tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST, as BAYC member Alex Lee’sRugDollz World collection officially launches on Blever.

The RugDollz World collection on ApeChain features 1,200 NFTs, each offering utility in Lee’s four mini-games, RugDollz Shooter, RugDollz Racing, RugDollz Treasure, and RugDollz Battle Royale, all available for 35 $Ape each.

While each game is currently free to play, Lee encourages everyone to ape into this new mint to access special boosts and custom equipment exclusive to NFT holders.

“RugDollz World is an innovative mini-games library delivering endless fun across a wide variety of genres, fully compatible with both Web2 and Web3,” Lee wrote. “Whether you're a blockchain enthusiast or a traditional gamer, RugDollz World offers dynamic gameplay and progression for all types of players. Web3 users can level up their experience by using NFTs to unlock exclusive content, upgrades, and characters across the games.”

 

Looking ahead, Lee told the Gazette he plans to integrate both his Ethereum based RugDollz collection and this new ApeChain based RugDollz World into the broader Web3 gaming ecosystem, with NFT character integrations, Web2 and Web3 partnerships, and weekly tournaments exclusively broadcast from ApeCoin’s OviDotLive.

“Future plans after the mint are to push the game to mobile platform to reach a bigger audience on the Google Play store and adopting more players from web2 to web3,” he said. “We also want to integrate new characters to the game from Apechain projects and upgrade our character selection as well as some optimisation and add new mini games to keep the game fresh and exciting.

 

Lee also teased a new game currently in development called RugHatchers, which he described as a Web3 version of Digimon or Tamagotchi.

“This will be a Digimon/Tamagotchi type game that holders will nurture an egg which will hatch,” he said. “They will evolve it until its in its final evolution stage in which they have the option to battle other trainers. The title mentioned earlier on the badge system, will give them perks to help grow their pet. Energy is purchased with $APE to help do actions and evolve the pet or time based to replenish. All $APE will go into a contract/LP and when players battle, they will be able to earn $APE prizes. We also have a utility we want to build on top of this afterwards, but I can't say aha!”
