There’s nothing Ohio about the Toledo Museum of Art’s upcoming CryptoPunks event!
Web3’s first fine art collection, CryptoPunks, will be meeting up at the Toledo Museum of Art next weekend to check out the 124-year-old institution’s collection of Van Gogh, Monet, and 12 CryptoPunks. The two day event begins with private tours and wraps up with a brunch that’s only for Punks!
“CryptoPunks x @ToledoMuseum Sept 13–14 → Art. Code. Community,” CryptoPunks tweeted. “Special thanks to @nodefnd@gondixyz@redbeardnft for supporting this weekend’s programming and special events for Punks.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Toledo Museum of Art has been a long time supporter of Web3 art. Since July, it has had 12 CryptoPunks on display in a new exhibit titled Infinite Images: The Art of Algorithms.
“We’re honored to announce that 12 iconic CryptoPunks are included in the upcoming exhibition Infinite Images: The Art of Algorithms, opening July 12, 2025,” the CryptoPunks account tweeted in April when the exhibit was first announced. “@ToledoMuseum. This landmark survey of contemporary generative art explores how artists across centuries have used instructions, systems, and code to shape visual culture, from ancient geometric patterns to the blockchain. The featured Punks - including Punk #9833 from the museum's permanent collection - embody this tradition: turning algorithmic parameters into culturally resonant portraits."
The Art of Algorithms exhibit showcases a who’s who of rare CryptoPunk traits, including a hoodie wearing Punk, a Zombie Punk, and an Alien. Check out all 12 featured Punks below:

If you’re interested in seeing these Punks on display but can’t make it to Ohio this weekend, fear not! The exhibit will remain open until November 30.
