COMING UP: ThankApe's Seventh $Ape Reward Season Will Focus On ApeChain!

As the seasons change around the swamp and the community trades in summer fun for pumpkin spice lattes, ThankApe is also gearing up for a season change of its own, shifting its focus to ApeChain this fall!

After partnering with 35 Bored businesses during its sixth reward season and encouraging the ApeCoin ecosystem to ape into these builders' goods and services, the ApeCoin DAO-funded reward program, ThankApe, is now turning its attention to the community’s soon-to-launch ApeChain.

“ApeChain is the single most important development in the history of the DAO and we want to do our part in scaling the projects, user incentives, and opportunities created on it,” ThankApe tweeted earlier this week. “If you are a buildoor who is either already committed to developing a project on ApeChain we want to collaborate with you and determine how to drive more APEs to your work. If you have a project concept that you want to build and need funding for, we want to hear more about it ahead of our upcoming ApeChain grants. There will be countless ways to engage with ApeChain and our team will be here to support throughout the process. We'll share an intake form soon so stay tuned.”

 

 

At this time, we do not know when season seven of ThankApe’s reward program will begin, but we do know that ThankApe will distribute 3.36 million $Ape to the ApeCoin community during the program’s Phase II.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the $Ape ecosystem approved ThankApe’s Ape Improvement Proposal, AIP-379, in February 2024.

“ApeCoin must create value now,” ThankApe's Founder ThriveGiraffe wrote in the initiative’s proposal. “To do that, we must attract, fund, and coordinate the best talent to address our DAO’s biggest needs. Speed and accuracy matter. Trust matters. Automation and decentralization matter. Utility is essential. Thank APE - Phase II is a one-year initiative that proposes to: 1. Continuously sense into the biggest needs and opportunities for ApeCoin DAO.2. Attract, fund, and coordinate the best talent to quickly respond to those needs. 3. Incentivize community members to engage and support value-creating projects.”
