COMING UP: The BACK TO BAYC-ICS BANANAVERSARY Event Is Next Week. Here's How You Can Attend!

Two years after these Bored Ape Yacht Club members held the community’s first in real life meetup, the group is returning to their roots with an anniversary event next week!

On Thursday, July 27th, BAYC members Swickie, Josh Ong and Peter Fang are hosting their “Back to BAYC-ICS” event in Los Angeles California and every BAYC member is invited!

“BACK TO BAYC-ICS BANANAVERSARY,": the trio wrote. “It’s been 2 years since the first unofficial Bored Ape Yacht Club IRL meetup in Venice, CA. Come celebrate with friends on Thursday (7/27) in Los Angeles. Thrilled to see familiar faces & excited to meet new members of the club!”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, On July 21, 2021, just two and a half months after the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s mint, 50 BAYC members and their friends came together at Bright Moments NFT Gallery and Townhouse Bar in Venice, California for the world's first ever BAYC meet up! “It was a diverse group, and every ape I met was doing something interesting,” Josh Ong told the Bored Ape Gazette at the time. “From derivative projects to documentary films and songwriting.”
