CUTE WITH A CHOMP: Crockys Are Swimming On ApeChain And Plan To Make Their Way To The Otherside With 3D Modeled Crocs!

As the late great Steve Irwin would say, Crocky!

The cutest bask of crocodiles made their way to the ApeChain ecosystem last week, and they’re planning to surface on the Otherside soon!

 

 

On June 29th, Bored Ape Yacht Club member ObyTheApe’s CrockyOnApe project launched, minted out, and has been taking a bite out of the chain’s mindshare ever since, with everyone posting photos of these cartoonishly cuddly crocadillas!

 

 

“I’m still overwhelmed with how the ApeChain response to the art,” he said. “Its was just a dream before and now that dream start adding colors in to it together.”

 

ObyTheApe told the Gazette that his dream of a cute and cuddly croc was inspired by the Pudgy Penguins project. But instead of picking another traditionally adorable animal, he wanted to go with something with a bit more chomp.

 

“I was thinking, Why not to create something cute and adorable but with a twist,” he said. “We all know that bears, dogs, cats and penguins are very adorable and loved by everyone. But, how about choose something with strong personality and made us want to adopt one.”

 

Looking ahead, ObyTheApe said he has some big plans for CrockyOnApe, including physical trading cards for 1/1 Croc holders, Telegram stickers, mystery boxes, plushies, Nifty Island activations, and an Otherdeed where all the Crockys can hang out together as therir Crocs!

 

"We are proud to announce that we have officially partnered with  @MystikLegacy to create Croc's in 3D,” ObyTheApe tweeted from the Crocky account over the weekend. “Do you Like to Play in the Metaverse? well you will be able to load your Crocky into Otherside or Nifty Island! Croc's in the Metaverse are going to look so Good! Also Crockys will be Dynamic, both the 2D and 3D art will be on the same token!”
