This week’s Mutant Monday had a touch of Throwback Thursday energy after McBess announced they would be opening a new Dudes Factory Lisbon location during ApeFest 2024 and selling the last of their merch from the 2022 Bored Ape Yacht Club collaboration!
As Apes from around the world head to Portugal for the BAYC’s fourth annual ApeFest, McBess revealed that their newest Dudes Factory store will be opening this Friday at the LX Factory complex, which is also where this year’s Saturday night ApeFest main event will take place.
Limited quantities of the original run of @mcbess x Dudes x @BoredApeYC collab pieces are available once more at #ApeFestLisbon,” the brand tweeted. “Join us at our LX Factory store to score the last pieces & get flash tattoos from our friends at Queen of Hearts tattoo studio.”
The crew at @McBess @DudesFactory is celebrating their new Lisbon store at LX Factory by cracking open the vault of original, deadstock apparel from our 2022 collab,” the BAYC tweeted after the announcement. “Quantities are limited and exclusive BAYC X McBess flash tattoos will also be available to Apes who purchase.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, McBess and The Dudes created two merch McCapsule collections exclusively for Apes back in October 2022, combing their unique monochromatic style with the Swamp! The collections featured a jean jacket, two t-shirts, and two posters.
“We’re longtime fans of the monochromatic, surrealist worlds McBess creates in his illustrations and The Dudes clothing label,” the Yuga Labs team wrote at the time. “So we’re psyched to see BAYC brought to life in his signature style."
The Dudes' Lisbon location at R. Rodrigues de Faria 103, LX Factory, Ed. i, Piso 1, 1300-501 Lisboa, Portugal, will open this Friday with daily hours from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the brand.
