ELECTION 2023: Evil Is Running For Governance Working Group Steward. Here's Why He Deserves Your Vote

ApeCoin DAO Contributor Evil is running to be the community’s next Governance Working Group Steward to speed up the DAO’s processes and prove that ApeCoin isn’t only for Bored Apes and Mutants!

 

After a month of Twitter Spaces, interviews, and politicking, it’s time for the $Ape community to cast their votes for the $Ape they’d want to represent them as the community’s next Governance Working Group Steward.

 

Among the five remaining candidates is Evil!

 

For those who are unfamiliar with the role that the Governance Working Group plays at the DAO, the group 'is responsible for providing neutral and objective governance oversight and support for the operations of the ApeCoin DAO,' according to AIP-239.

With that in mind, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Evil and asked him why the DAO should elect him! Check out the full interview below:

1. In a sentence or two can you sum up your crypto journey and how you got into Web3?

 

“Got found via Makersplace talent team through artstation back in 2020, got an email and they said they would like to have me on their platform.”

2. In a sentence or two, why should the community elect you to be its next Governance Working Group Steward?

 

“I bring a clear vision, experience with community and governance building and a diversity among many Bored Apes pfp holders.”

3. What initiatives or projects would you want to spend your time on as a Governance Working Group Steward?

“My focus would be on introducing micro grants to community and onboard more people, changing the narrative of how the world sees us, which as of right now is a joke.”

4. Why do you want this job?

“Being a part of this community, I got to learn many amazing people and I also know there are many more outside of the DAO, I want to bring them to the DAO but that isn't possible if I can't prove to them that ApeCoin DAO isn't just for bored apes or mutants but for everyone.”

5. what impact or mark do you hope to leave on the DAO?

“Every single thing here works at a snail's pace, meanwhile the entire crypto space moves fast and improve, we've been moving at a such slow pace that nothing much has been improved in the past one year.”

6. Do you have anything else you’d like to add or say?

“Vote evil, being diversity in the DAO and change the narrative of how the world sees us by voting me.”

The window to vote in the ApeCoin DAO’s Governance Working Group Steward election is currently open, and $Apes have until Wednesday, December 20th, at 9 P.M. EST, to cast their coins.
