ELECTION SEASON: ApeCoin DAO Contributors Can Now Nominate Themselves For Either The Special Council Election Or One Of The DAO's Four Working Group Steward Races

Its nomination season at the ApeCoin DAO after the window for community members to ape into the Special Council election or one of the four Working Group Steward races officially opened earlier this week!

Things were anything but boring in the $Ape ecosystem on Wednesday, as the window opened for ApeCoin DAO contributors holding at least one ApeCoin to throw their hats in the ring for one of the four races and run for one of the eight open $Ape office seats this summer.

 

This summer’s election season consists of two Special Council Members' seats and two Governance Working Group Stewards' seats that are up for reelection.

 Additionally, the ApeCoin DAO government is introducing one new Marketing & Communications WG Steward seat, one Metaverse WG Steward seat, and two Web 3 Development WG Stewards' seats across its governance, all of which need to be filled by a community vote.

 

In order to officially nominate yourself for one of these races, $Ape holders will need to fill out the Google Docs forums that can be found on the ApeCoin DAO’s Discourse page here: https://forum.apecoin.com

 

 

To run for $Ape office, prospective nominees for every position will need to submit their full name, date of birth, Government issued ID, proof of address, phone number, email address, Discourse Username, and Twitter Username to the to the DAO.

 

ApeCoin DAO contributors who are interested in nominating themselves for one of this summer's races have until May 21st at 9 P.M. EST to submit their applications to the DAO and launch their candidacy!
