“EMBRACE THE PENGUIN”: Penguins Take Over the Timeline, Government, And Memecoins As Pudgy Penguins Claim 2026 As Their Year!

Fat, flightless birds are suddenly waddling through the United States government. And while memecoin trenchers would have you believe it’s Nietzsche-coded and political Twitter insists it has something to do with Greenland,NFT collectors know the truth. It’s the proliferation of Pudgy Penguins.

Since Friday, the White House intern has been on a tear, after tweeting a photo of Donald Trump walking hand in flipper with a penguin toward a distant mountain.

 

 

Since then, the intern has retweeted the post with new captions, while the Departments of Education, DOGE, and Energy each put their own spin on the meme.

 The result? Millions of impressions, a memecoin called Nietzschean Penguin running up to as much as a $160 million market cap, and validation for the Pudgy Penguins, who said way back on January 2nd that 2026 would be their year.

 

Penguins and U.S. politicians have been close for a while now. As the Gazette previously reported, Republican congressmen Tim Moore, William Timmons, and Mike Rulli have all embraced the penguin, changing their X profile pictures to edited versions of the brand’s mascot, Pax.

 

As penguins continue to waddle the halls of Congress and huddle at the heights of power and minshare, many are wondering whether the President himself could one day change his profile picture to a Pudgy Penguin.
