“FEELS LIKE FATE”: NFT Drew Wins A Bored Ape After Buying A Gold Wheel Of Fate Spin For 1,000 $APE!

The clock is ticking, and like a Jigsaw trap, the Wheel of Fate favors the bold and Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Drew Security founder, NFT Drew, proved he’s definitely that after taking the necessary risks to win a Bored Ape!
On Monday, the Wheel of Fate began spinning around the swamp as the ApeCoin intern invited everyone to ape into his three Wheel of Fate games, with big prizes like Bored Apes, Mutants, floor sweeps, and more up for grabs!
Shortly after the games began, Drew decided to do what it takes to survive and win. Unlike in Saw, he didn’t have to cut off his own leg but he did have to risk a lot of $Ape with the odds stacked against him!
“I was placing 100/69 WAPE offers on silver, and 1,000 WAPE offers on gold,” Drew told the Gazette. “I got 2 gold and 4 silver, and then vRNG was so nice to me.”
With the Gold Fate Ball he purchased from fellow BAYC member Aviv, Drew struck Bored, winning Bored Ape #9972.
"I’m shaking," Drew told the Gazette right after his win. “It’s insane. I legit have never won anything in my life and a WAPE got me this!”
After his win, longtime community members and the ApeChain team took to the timeline to congratulate Drew on taking the risk and winning big.
“Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted. “(And yes it was random - onchain randomness provided by @ProofOfPlay)”
Bored Ape #9972 is Drew’s first Bored Ape, and he said getting the primate is a dream come true. He’s especially happy that its background color is Aquamarine, which matches his Mutant Ape.
“It is my first BAYC ever, thought I’d never reach there,” Drew said. “Feels like fate to get a matching mutant ape set. Huge shoutout to the team, especially Dutchee, farmer, cam, and everyone involved. Activations like this are what keep people around and not just for quick farms.”
As Drew celebrates his win, remember the Intern’s game are continuing around the swamp and another Bored Ape and a Mutant Ape are both up for grabs in the Multiball Round of the Wheel of Fate.
