WALK BEFORE THEY RUN: Invisible Friends' New Owner CoinBilly Is Bringing The Collection's Most Iconic Character Onchain, But It'll Be More Than Just An NFT!

Invisible Friends is about to walk before they run!

Last week, Invisible Friends' original "Head of Stuff," CoinBilly, officially acquired the NFT project he helped build, promising to bring the collection out of the shadows and into a new era. And his first order of business is giving collectors everywhere the chance to own the project's most recognizable Friend for the first time ever!

On Monday, Invisible Friends announced that "The Walk," the walking character that helped put the project on the map during the last NFT bull run, is finally heading to collectors' wallets on October 28!

 

“I always thought this friend should've been part of the collection, so here it is,” CoinBilly tweeted.

 

 

 

Invisible Friends' The Walk mint opens this Wednesday at noon ET and will be available to everyone across the space for 24 hours. Each NFT will cost the equivalent of $5 in ETH, according to the project. Current Invisible Friend holders will also be airdropped one for free.

 

 

But collectors, old and new, may want to pay attention because these walking Friends are shaping up to be more than just J-Pegs on a screen!

According to CoinBilly, The Walk will play a role in the brand's future physical and digital experiences, potentially giving collectors early access to select releases and opportunities to burn their NFTs for physical products and more.

“This is the start of the digital side of IF,” CoinBilly tweeted. “A place to experiment and try things I can't do anywhere else. The Walk will be a way to get access to some of what the brand puts out, digital and physical. not everything. most of IF is being built for everyone, but if you want in early on certain drops this is how… there's a lot more coming from the Invisible Friends brand.”
