Pudgy Penguins are about to get sweeter than ever after the brand announced that it’s partnering with the popular “sugartainment” company IT'SUGAR to bring Pudgys to stores nationwide!
On Monday, the Pudgy Penguins announced that they’ll be waddling from crypto to candy later this year after signing an exclusive licensing partnership with IT’SUGAR, according to License Global.
"Pudgy Penguins is one of the most culturally resonant brands today, with a deeply engaged global audience," IT' SUGAR creative director Lauren Balsamo said in a press release. "We see this partnership as an opportunity to create something playful, unexpected, and highly sought after within our stores."
With this partnership, Penguins and those with a sweet tooth can expect gummies, chocolates, and collectible Pengu themed containers to arrive at more than 100 IT’SUGAR locations just in time for the holidays!
"This partnership represents a natural evolution for Pudgy Penguins as we continue to expand into categories that bring the brand to life in tangible, tasty new ways," Pudgy Penguins Partnership Head Steve Starobinsky said in a press release. "IT'SUGAR's approach to retail and experience makes them an ideal partner to translate our sweet universe into a yummy treat."
Today’s announcement is not the Penguins’ first dabble in the world of candy. As the Gazette previously reported, Pudgy partnered with PEZ in 2025, reimagining the brand’s mascot Pax Pengu as a collectible candy dispenser!
