FROM PRIMATES TO PARCELS: BAYC Member Kevie Went From Dismissing NFTs In 2021 To Purchasing Two Chaos Otherdeeds In The Last Two Weeks!

While many fomo’d into NFTs during the 2021 boom, BAYC member Kevie did the opposite and wrote them off entirely. But now, years later, as others have cooled on the space, Kevie is finally ape-ing in.
Since the beginning of March, the Las Vegas collector has purchased two rare Chaos Otherdeeds from notable NFT broker NickiV for a combined 23.4 ETH, or about $48,400 USD.
These metaverse moves come just a few months after Kevie joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club and completely changed his mind about NFTs.
Late last year, just before ApeFest, Kevie, a lifelong collector and owner of a Las Vegas card shop and art dealership ,decided to check out the “Best Club on the Internet” and attend ApeFest 2025 in Sin City.
“The weekend galvanized my conviction in BAYC and Yuga, I was really impressed,” Kevie told the Gazette. “ I got seated next to Adam Weitsman in the Sunday poker tournament. By the way, Adam was the absolute nicest and pleasant person to chat with. And this was just as the news was breaking that he had done a big deal with Yuga on Otherside assets, so there was a lot of deed talk and Otherside excitement going on. It really piqued my interest in the Otherside.”
Following ApeFest, Kevie got to work, ape-ing more and more into NFTs and finding his way around the swamp.
“I was buying some common deeds, probably over-payingand I finally was able to meet my now good friend Nicki V (@nichoviss) who is a master at putting deals together for grail deeds,” he explained. “ We came up with a plan, an opportunity came up, and I bought my first and second chaos with him in the last couple of weeks.”
Today, Kevie owns three Bored Apes, 28 Otherdeeds, and a whole bunch of ApeChain NFTs, including 79 TURTLEZ, six Gobs, 12 DongSocks, among many other things. Take a look at his collection below:
Kevie went on to say that he’s loved exploring the Otherside Swamp and Nexus, meeting new frens in the metaverse, and cannot wait to build out his Chaos Otherdeeds.
